David was well-liked and respected all around the Gravesend area, where he was born and remained for most of his life. There were just one or two trips away for work, and of course all the travelling that he loved to do! Whether it was to go off in his beloved classic Rover cars, cruising, on exotic train journeys or driving around Australia, he loved exploring and visiting new places.

He played outdoor bowls for most of his life, and won many trophies. He was also a leading member of the Freemasons, both in Gravesend and around Kent, and even visited a Masonic Hall in Australia!

He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

 A big ‘thankyou!’ to everyone who joined us on 2nd December to celebrate Dave’s life, and on behalf of Ellenor to everyone who has contributed so generously in his memory.
